As you drive on New Road in Pleasantville, you may have noticed a chain link fence and construction going on, next to Walgreens.

That is the future site of the new ModWash Car Wash that's being built.  ModWash Car Wash is a chain that's based in Chattanooga, Tennessee.  They're owned by a real estate investment firm that plans on becoming the largest chain of its type.

They plan to have over 100 locations by the end of this year.  Here in New Jersey, they already have locations in Cherry Hill, Millville, Sicklerville, Turnersville, and Vineland.  They are in the process of adding 6 more Jersey locations, including the one here in Pleasantville.

ModWash offers several membership packages that include, a premium unlimited membership as well as lesser memberships.  You can also purchase several levels of single washes.

Among the services they offer include free vacuum, mat cleaner, air tools, air freshener, carpet cleaning, and microfiber towels for you to dry your vehicle.

The wash itself includes special bug treatment, triple foam, rain repellent, tire shine, mod wax, and something they call Mod Shine.

Individual washes run $10.00 to $25.  While they don't do the extras, such as vacuuming and cleaning the windows, they offer you the supplies needed to do it yourself.  It's been my experience, that it's probably better to do it this way.

Unlimited memberships start with a basic wash ($19.99), and the premium membership can be had for $39.99.  These are recurring charges.  They also offer discounted trial memberships.
