A motorcyclist riding on East Moss Mill Road in Galloway late Saturday night died when his bike crashed into a guardrail.

Cyclist Dies in Galloway Crash

Galloway Township Police report that an Absecon man riding a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle died around midnight on Saturday, June 22.

The police say they received a call about a motorcycle accident and responded at 12:17 am Sunday to East Moss Mill Road, near the intersection of Sander Place in Galloway.

Police found Joseph Stetser, 59, of Absecon, and his motorcycle in the roadway.

Police Investigation Reveals Cause of Cycle Crash

Police say an investigation showed that Stetser was traveling westbound on E. Moss Mill Road when he struck the guardrail just west of the intersection of Sander Place.

When the bike hit the guardrail, Stetser was ejected from his motorcycle. He suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
