
Millville Mother Of 5 Shot to Death in Parking Lot; Man Injured
A woman was shot to death in the parking lot of a Millville convenience store on Saturday morning and a man she was with was injured by gunfire, according to 6ABC.
What We Know About the Shooting
Millville Police haven't commented yet about the double shooting that left a Millville woman dead and her boyfriend hospitalized with three gunshot wounds.
6ABC spoke with the woman's family who said she had just left home Saturday to go to the store before the shooting.
Family Members Speak Out About Fatal Shooting
6ABC is reporting that the family of Bonnie Hitchens, 41, says that she was shot at about 10:30 am Saturday in the parking lot of a convenience store on East Green Street in Millville.
People in the neighborhood say they heard at least four gunshots.
Hitchens' daughter told 6ABC that her mother didn't deserve to be shot.
"My mom didn't deserve this. She wasn't a bad person at all".
Bonnie Hitchens's daughter said they were struggling with her death and wanted to remember what a good person she was.
'She always brought a light. Anybody that was sad she could their day into the best day ever."
No other details have been released about Saturday's deadly shooting.
