Na'cho Taco, the new taco place opening soon in Margate, is in the same location as the previous place but has a few new ideas for the menu and the business.

Na'Cho Taco Opens Soon in Old Taco Cat Location

Nacho Taco, the new takeout window eatery on the corner of Essex and Ventnor avenues in Margate, plans to open in mid-December.

Na'cho taco knows how popular its predecessor was.

Taco Cat closed suddenly in July after five years in that location. It was common to see long lines outside Taco Cat waiting for food.

But Mike and Randi Talley, the owners of Taco Cat, had problems with staffing and claimed they were exhausted from running the business and needed a break.

Russ and Regina Zakirov, who own the building where the restaurant and Downbeach Deli are located, were sad to see the Taco Cat close but decided to create their own Cal-Mex restaurant in the space.

New Ideas For Na'cho Taco

The new owners are Margate locals. They think the courtyard outside Na'cho Taco will be a good space for parties and gatherings in the summer.

They say they envision turning the courtyard into a more eating-friendly area.

The couple wants to add some fresh ideas to the menu, too. They plan to offer party platters, rice bowls, and salads and have added some new taco varieties, like "The Salty Shroom" to the menu.

"Russ and I are thrilled to bring our cali-mex concept to Margate. Na'cho Taco is not your typical take out taco. Our specialties are bowls and salads, dips, and of course tacos and burritos with fresh ingredients made to order!

You can keep it simple and go bold with your fold. Take out, eat in our outdoor courtyard or order a platter perfect for your next order"
