Pizza continues to be one of the most tried-and-true comfort foods, especially during these stressful and challenging times we live in.

Pizza is the number one comfort food in 33 states, including New Jersey, thanks to a recent survey from the website Treadmills Review.

When it comes to some of the best pizza in the entire country, look no further than the Garden State. In fact, a South Jersey pizzeria was named 4th best in the entire country by the website Big 7 Travel.

The 4th best pizza in the country can be found at Brico Coal Fired Pizza, located on Haddon Avenue in Westmont in Haddon Township. Their signature pie is fired up in a custom nade 1,000-degree coal-fired oven. Ingredients from their award-winning pizza come from the local farmer's market, and they only use San Marzano tomatoes for all their toppings.

Also making the best pizza list in South Jersey were Tacconelli's in Burlington and Big John's Pizza in Bridgeton. Just in case you were wondering, the number one best pizza in the entire U.S. surprisingly comes from San Francisco, courtesy of Tony's Pizza Napoletana, according to the list.

We have so many outstanding pizza places to choose from. My recent favorite is the Grandma pie at Little Italy on Tilton Road in Northfield. I also love the pie at Carluccio's Coal Fired Pizza also in Northfield.
