A raucous New Year's eve party in an Airbnb-rented Ventnor home turned violent early Tuesday morning when one of the party guests was shot multiple times. According to Ventnor Police, the victim, a 26-year-old man from Hillside (Union County) New Jersey was attending the party at the beach block home when an argument broke out and gun shots were fired.

The man is listed in stable condition at Atlanticare Regional Medical Center (Atlantic City).

Ventnor City Police chief Doug Biagi said none of the large crowd of party goers in the rented Vassar Square Avenue house when police responded to a call for shots fired at 3:17am Tuesday was from Ventnor.

No arrests were made and the shooting is still under investigation.
