
Man Not Allowed to Have Firearms Had a Loaded Gun in Brigantine, NJ
Brigantine Police have released information on Facebook about an Atlantic City man they arrested early Monday morning on a vehicle stop who was found to have a loaded handgun.
Police say they pulled over Edward L. Slatton IV, of Atlantic City about 3 am on Monday, Oct 18 on a motor vehicle stop in the 4100 Block of Brigantine Blvd.
Slatton was found to have an active warrant for his arrest.
As police arrested him, they discovered that he had a loaded handgun concealed on his person. It was later learned that Slatton is a person prohibited from possessing weapons by law.

Slatton was charged with possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and possession of a high-capacity magazine. He was remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility pending a detention hearing, according to police.
