One of the most prestigious and oldest parades ever first debuted on November 24th,1924. The 94th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is set to march down the streets of Manhattan on November 26th.

The 2020 version of the parade will have a different look and feel to it due to the lingering concerns of the COVID-19 pandemic as reported by CBS News and the NY Post.  Some of the parade my be virtual and some may be spread out in small pieces according to Mayor Bill de Blasio press conference which addressed both the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and the annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony at Rockefeller Center.

I'm thrilled that both the parade and the tree lighting ceremony will happen this year. Both are holiday staples for me and my family. I have so many fond holiday memories of bringing my boys to the parade and the Christmas Tree Lighting at Rockefeller Center.

More parade details concerning the changes that will take place this year will be released by Macy's at a later date.
