Lunar Eclipse Will be Visible on the 4th of July

A lunar eclipse happens when the sun's light is blocked by the Earth's shadow according to the website Space.com. The 4th of July lunar eclipse is being called a Penunbral eclipse. This eclipse can be seen in most of North America, South America, western Europe and Africa.
The next total lunar eclipse, where the Earth's shadow will completely cover the moon, will take place over the skies of South jersey on May 6th, 2021.
For now, astronomy lovers can gaze at the sky and enjoy a lunar eclipse after watching fireworks for the 4th of July.
