Atlantic County Player Wins $1.5 Million in Lottery Jackpot

A local player won over $1.5 million playing the Cash 5 game, according to the New Jersey Lottery.

The New Jersey Lottery announced on Wednesday that a player from Atlantic County matched all five numbers to win $1,517,632, the game’s second highest of the year.

Winning Lottery Ticket Sold in Atlantic City

The New Jersey Lottery said that the winning Jersey Cash 5 ticket was sold at La Bodega, 2501 Atlantic Ave., in Atlantic City.

La Bodega will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

According to the New Jersey Lottery website, to win Jersey Cash 5, you choose five numbers from 1-45. A Jersey Cash 5 ticket costs $2.

These numbers are then scored against the winning numbers to see if they match.

The more chosen numbers that match the winning numbers, the higher the prize.

The Jersey Cash 5 jackpot for matching all five (5) numbers starts at $ 150 K. If you match all five numbers and win the jackpot.
