Two New Jersey Governors Are Coming To Atlantic City In April, 2026

It is a long-time tradition for the sitting Governor of New Jersey to attend and be the Keynote Speaker at the annual East Coast Gaming Congress in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill

Is set to continue the tradition, when the East Coast Gaming Congress is held from April 14-15, 2026 at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City.

It is the longest-running event of its kind in American History at 29 years.

Two New Jersey Governors Will Appear This Year

Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and incumbent Governor Mikie Sherrill.

Sherrill will be the Keynote Speaker.

Christie will be appearing with Bill Miller, President & CEO of the American Gaming Association.

Christie is an advisor with the American Gaming Association.

They will discuss the challenges currently facing the gaming industry.

Chris Christie Deserves Credit

Christie took a real long shot and brought the issue of sports betting to The United States Supreme Court.

Many criticized him for wasting time and money on a “hopeless” gambit. They were wrong.

Christie delivered the landmark U.S. Supreme Court decision, Murphy v. NCAA.

Had Christie not brought this case forward, the federal prohibition on state-authorized sports betting would have remained in effect to this day.

It is Christie’s most significant accomplishment as Governor of New Jersey.
