Authorities in North Jersey are asking for your help with identifying a man who was caught stealing glasses while wearing glasses.

Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé says the pictured suspect stole a pair of Gucci and Maui Jim sunglasses from a vision center on the morning of November 17th.

The incident happened around 10:15 at the Eye Contact Vision Center on the 200 block of Ferry Street.

The suspect, a Hispanic male, was caught on video removing the sunglasses from a display shelf, putting them in his pocket, and leaving the store.

He was wearing grey sweatpants, a grey sweatshirt and a black vest jacket.
