7Brew Coffee is Coming to Egg Harbor Township and We Got an Exclusive First Look
Confirmed! The new location of 7Brew Coffee on the Black Horse Pike in Egg Harbor Township will be opening on Monday, April 13th, and not too long ago, we got an exclusive look of the inside and outside of coffee's hottest (or iced) destination.
For those unfamiliar with 7Brew, they have taken the quick-service coffee industry by storm. What started as a single coffee store in Arkansas in 2017 has rapidly expanded to over 500 locations in less than a decade, including 5 spots in the southern half of New Jersey, but none in Atlantic County (for now).
And if you're thinking that this is "just another trendy coffee place," well, it is, but it's much more. 20,000 times more.
Thanks to a cult-like following and people posting their unique drinks on social media, the chain has quickly taken off. One college-aged reviewer summed it up this way:
When I looked online to find what kind of drink I might get, the options were endless and overwhelming. Not only did they have a secret menu, but while looking through my TikTok feed, everything sounded absolutely delicious. Do I want coffee, an energy drink, a smoothie, a shake, a tea or a sparkling water?
And, yes, their options are endless. The chain boasts "we handcraft every drink exactly how you want it, with over 20,000 flavor options and customizations...". Their menu board at their soon-to-be-open EHT location shows over 30 different flavors for whatever you are into.
7Brew Debuts in South Jersey
Our first taste of 7Brew was in Turnersville, Gloucester County, when that location opened a little less than a year ago. Townsquare Media's Jahna Michel, our self-proclaimed resident coffee expert, stopped by for an iced coffee and had to wait over an hour for her drink, but she said it was well worth it. Safe to say you'll be waiting a bit when the EHT store opens, too.
Late last year, another 7Brew opened in Rio Grande, Cape May County, and people reported waiting just as long.
And now the buzz is getting ready to take over Egg Harbor Township.
We first visited the empty lot right next to Aldi, across from Matt Blatt Nissan, on January 7th and there was nothing there but some dirt. About three months later, the store is almost ready to open. How did it get built so quickly? Most of the building arrived on trucks and it was simply assembled on-site, as if it was a giant Lego set.
Drive-Thru Only -- Here's How It Works
So what can you expect?
First, unlike Dunkin' or Starbucks or even Wawa, you aren't going inside to get your drink. 7Brew is drive-thru only. A 7Brew employee will walk up to your car, take your order, and then you swing around and get it.
This is also a place where you want to take a look at their menu before the worker walks up to your car. With 20,000 options and choices and customizations, at least sorta-kinda know what you want and I'm sure they can help you dial it into what you love or take their quiz before you go.
7Brew EHT — Exclusive First Look Inside and Outside Before Opening Day
As for the store itself, let's take a look around.
Pre-construction
In early January, the lot had just been cleared and there was no sign of what was going to be built there.
Construction Almost Done
Just three months later, the store is almost ready to open.
A Look at 7Brew in Egg Harbor Township
One of their menu boards at the drive-thru is already showing over 30 different flavors that are available.
Workers will soon be popping in and out of this booth, taking orders.
Inside, all of the syrups and flavorings are coming together.
We'll have opening day details the moment they become available. Meanwhile, we invite you to check out our list of 22 excellent independent coffee shops across South Jersey.
