For Parents and their children in High School, planning for the future after Graduation is always a challenge. Many teenagers stress about where they will attend college while their parents worry about how they are going to pay for it.

There are benefits for New Jersey High School graduates to enroll at in-state colleges and universities instead of venturing out of state. Those benefits include lower tuition rates along with fewer travel expenses, and for those students who take extra classes in High School, have credits that can be applied post-graduation.

However, some universities with higher acceptance rates are easier for New Jersey High School Graduates to get into compared to others. Thanks to information from the New Jersey Office of the Secretary of Higher Education gathered by NJ Advance Media, here are the top ten easiest and hardest Universities in The Garden State to attend:

10. Fairleigh Dickinson University - Metropolitan Campus, Teaneck, New Jersey
A short drive from I-95 and I-80 just north of Hackensack, the Teaneck Campus of Fairleigh Dickinson has an Acceptance Rate of 84.3 percent for those who want to attend a University in the New York City Metro area.

9. Fairleigh Dickinson University - Florham Campus, Madison, NJ
About 35-40 minutes west of the Teaneck Campus, the Fairleigh Dickinson Madison campus has an acceptance rate of 86.5 percent.

8. Montclair State University (Montclair)
The first New Jersey State college that offered a Master's Degree Program and also the first to offer multiple Doctorate Degree Programs, Montclair State has an Acceptance Rate of 87.4 percent.
