One of the first babies born in South Jersey in 2024 has a twin brother that was born in 2023.

The birth of twins? Not as uncommon as it once was. Twins born with two different birthday is rare. Twins born with two different birth YEARS is even rarer!

But that's exactly what happened for one set of twins in our area.

Baby Ezra and Baby Ezekiel, twin boys, were born at Virtua in Voorhees only about 30 minutes apart, but that was enough to give each their own individual birth date and year.

Ezra entered the world on at 11:48 p.m. on Sunday, December 31, 2023, according to 6abc.com. At 12:28 a.m. on Monday, January 1, 2024, brother Ezekial made his debut. And boy are they cute?!

It's double the love for parents and Merchantville, NJ residents Eve and Bill Humphrey.

The baby boys were both born healthy and hearty! And now, even though twins, they'll have their own individual birthdays to celebrate, as well as fun New Year's Eve and New Year's Day stories to tell for the rest of their lives.

Even though ringing in 2025 for The Humphreys probably won't be as adventurous as 2024, it'll be memorable and festive when the twins turn 1. Oh, and it just so happens dad Bill now shares his own 12/31 birthday with his eldest twin Ezra.
