Tuckahoe Brewing Co. in EHT, NJ Reportedly Closing for Good
It's sad news for the Egg Harbor Twp. community and fans of a popular local brewery, which is reportedly closing for good.
Tuckahoe Brewing Co. on English Creek Avenue in EHT is shutting down this November after 12 years in business.
In a notification we obtained from a Tuckahoe Mug Club Member, the brewery explains why they're ending their venture.
The explanation is simple. Businesses like this are a labor of love, and the owners simply want to spend more time with their families.
I've had so many memories at Tuckahoe Brewing Co., including a local brewery tour we hosted for listeners a few years back that began there. It was always a fun pregaming spot. I'm a huge fan of their brews, feeling that they've always had consistently good local beer and a nice variety. Especially this time of year when they pour their Sunshine Park Blonde Ale. It's got a really nice looking, welcoming tasting room, too. I'll miss it.
But you've got until November to spend some time there before it closes! So, go support the brewery while you can.
