There's just so much to do and see.

However, Jersey also has a little bit of a dark side.

Towns that during the day time may be totally fine to visit, but after the sun goes down it's probably not the best place to be walking around.

My wife and I live in Seaside Heights, and even that town still has somewhat of a reputation for being on the seedy side.

I don't agree personally, we've lived there for two years, and outside of the occasional obnoxious tourist we haven't had any type of issues.

But regardless, there are of course some parts of our state that are more dangerous than others.

In fact, the experts at Only In Your State have put together their own list of Jersey's ten most dangerous cities to visit after the sun goes down.

All of their picks are based on the State Police Crime Report.

There are some towns on the list that are fairly notorious for being a less than reputable place to visit but there are also some towns that made the list that really surprised me.

Places that are well-known for historic small towns.
