Exclusive Indoor Golf Club Set to Open in EHT This Summer
Two South Jersey health care professionals are teaming up to open a members-only golf and social club on Fire Road in Egg Harbor Township.
Adam Saad and Miro Kesic hope to have the Fire Golf Club at 2907 Fire Road in Egg Harbor Township open by this summer, according to the Philadelphia Business Journal.
Saad is a plastic surgeon at the Plastic Surgery Center in Egg Harbor Township and a CrossFit athlete who co-owns his own gym, Optimal Training Gym, on Bargaintown Road in EHT.
He plans to move the gym to one of the buildings on the Fire Road property.
According to PBJ, the gym is where Saad met Miro Kesic, who runs several healthcare diagnostics and supply companies.
The Fire Golf Club
Both men are golf enthusiasts. They bought the Fire Road site at auction last year for $1.4 million, Saad told PBJ. They intend to spend as much as $2 million to give Fire Road Golf the atmosphere of an upscale outdoor golf club.
The members-only club will include seven golf simulators, a 40-by-30-foot putting green, a club fitting studio, and a full bar. Kesic told the Philadelphia Business Journal they plan to do it right.
"We're not sparing any expenses," Kesic said. "We want this to be very nicely done, and we want to have the best of the best, just because Adam and I really enjoy golfing.”
Fire Golf Club will offer a $10,000 annual corporate membership and a $2,000-per-year "Shoobie Pass" for part-timers at the Jersey Shore, among its membership options.
The men expect to have 200-300 members and say 20 people have already signed on.
Indoor golf has seen a surge in popularity since the pandemic and is experiencing rapid growth, with an estimated 6.2 million Americans using simulators annually.
The industry has seen a 73% rise in users compared to pre-pandemic levels, driven by convenience, year-round play, and improved technology.
