You're going to have to bring your appetite when you hit the beach in Brigantine this weekend since the Food Truck Festival will have you stuffing your face.

The annual Brigantine Food Truck Festival is set to kick off near 38th Street beach on Friday, August 6th. Don't worry, though. If you don't have the chance to make it out there this Friday, they'll be there all weekend long through Sunday, August 8th. If you're one of those people still trying to watch their beach body, can I make a suggestion and say just use this weekend as a cheat weekend? With over twenty options to choose from, you might just want to press the pause button on that diet for now.

According to the Food Truck Festival's website, it looks like dessert-lovers are in for a real treat. Pardon the pun. Apparently, sweets-enthusiasts will have their choice of cupcakes, water ice, and even cannolis from vendors like House Of Cupcakes, Pete's Italian Ice, and Mannino's Express. People certainly won't be short on sweet selections this weekend.

Although Brigantine normally requires beach tags to use their beaches, the beach tag fee will be waived this weekend for people attending the festival. This isn't hearsay, but fact, and is even stated on the food truck festival's website. You can park on the street for free, too. Since this is a pretty popular festival, though, street parking might be hard to find depending on the hour of your arrival. However, you should be able to park at the C.E.R Center on 42nd.
