Hey Taylor, Make Sure You Do This Before Leaving LBI, NJ

Hi Taylor,

Now that the world knows you're on Long Beach Island for Jack and Margaret's wedding, there's a lot of excitement on the island.

I've had many meals at the Black Whale, and if I enjoyed those meals on my budget, you must've loved what you had on yours.

I understand you got some Joey's pizza today.  Good stuff, but too much of that, and you'll have problems moving around the stage.  Just saying...

I also understand you'll be dining at Parker's Garage.  If true, you're going to love it.  Good folks work there, and the food is outstanding.  May I recommend the Boathouse Bouillabaise?  OH-MY-GOD.  You'll thank me later.  The view of the bay is awesome.

You'll probably look to get home after the reception, but I hope you'll stay another day.  You see, I used to live in Beach Haven, until Sandy, and I think there's a few more things you should experience.

There's a place called The Boardwalk.  It's on Bay Ave.  I used to live across the street, and each summer, they employ a bunch of kids who are usually working their first job.  They scoop ice cream and rent bikes.

Rent a bike and ride down to the end of the island.  That's Holgate, and while a lot has changed since the storm, Holgate still has a charm different from all else.  It's a bird sanctuary, and it's a great place to meditate.

The waves roll in and the sun reflects on the water- you won't find serenity like that in many other places.  Sometimes, you'll even see dolphins as they pass by.  Sunsets are awesome.
