Help Us Send Love to Our Deployed Soldiers! Lite Rock’s Valentine’s for the Troops
Lite Rock 96.9 WFPG is sending love to our American soldiers again this February with Lite Rock’s Valentines for the Troops.
Lite Rock is teaming up with American Recreation Military Services to send valentines to our troops in Afghanistan and anywhere around the world where New Jersey military personnel are presently deployed.
To help, collect homemade valentines and small teddy bears.
This year, we’ve also been asked to also make a special appeal for beef jerky! This took me by surprise at first, but think about it. Beef jerky is made from lean meat, you can ship it from America and it doesn’t spoil, it’s easily packed and carried and jerky is a convenient savory snack!
You can drop them off at the Lite Rock studios at 950 Tilton Road in Northfield, Monday thru Friday between 8:30 & 5pm. The deadline is Wednesday, February 12th. School, church and civic groups… we really need your help!
