A crew of workers repairing a water main break in South Jersey created a bold message to Philadelphia Phillies management to sign outfielder Bryce Harper.

The words 'Sign Harper!' were spray-painted in the grass near Route 70 in Cherry Hill Thursday night.

Hopefully the sentiment got passed along to the Phillies. We hear team owner John Middleton flew to Las Vegas over the weekend to try to sway free-agent Harper in Philadelphia's direction in person.

The workers weren't distracted for too long. The water main break, which closed two lanes of traffic between Cornell and Sayer Ave., was repaired by Friday, according to 6abc.com.
