Gloucester Township Restaurant Broke COVID Rules, Report Police

Just ahead of Governor Phil Murphy's lifting of a 10 p.m. dining curfew and increase in permitted restaurant patrons, Texas Roadhouse in Gloucester Township has reportedly been cited for violating COVID-19 restrictions.

Texas Roadhouse, located on Cross Keys Road in Sicklerville, is accused of operating at 70 percent capacity, which currently goes against New Jersey state orders amid coronavirus, according to NJ State Police Superintendent Col. Patrick Callahan and the NJ Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control.

Since September, indoor dining capacity at bars and restaurants is currently limited to 25 percent. It will increase to 35 percent on Friday, Feb. 5, just ahead of Super Bowl Weekend, reports Governor Murphy.

There is no specific information currently available as to the charges or fines faced by Gloucester Twp. Texas Roadhouse, but other bars and restaurants committing similar infractions were issued warnings, fines, license suspensions, and license revocations by the ABC, according to Patch.com.
