The EHT School district posted a message Wednesday acknowledging complaints over  "certain social media posts have been uploaded by a substitute school custodian".

The Press of Atlantic City reports seeing screen shots of the post in question, which were posted on Facebook Tuesday, saying "This is y'all look right rn. Smh" and included a YouTube video from the original last scene of the 1972 film "Conquest of the Planet of the Apes".

In the scene, Caesar, the leader of the apes, gives a speech about humanity's downfall and the rise of the apes, and then the apes beat to death the human who used to own Caesar, according to the Press report.

Wednesday's Facebook post from Egg Harbor Township Schools said....

Rest assured that we are looking into each and every complaint and taking this situation very seriously. The Egg Harbor Township School District does not tolerate racism or discrimination of any kind and will take every action necessary to ensure it is not promoted by anyone who represents the school district. #ehtpride#embrace#engage#educate
