Things start in the NFC East when Philadelphia welcomes the Washington Redkskins to Lincoln Financial Field for the season opener on Sunday, Sept. 8. They will also end in division with four consecutive NFC East games in December, including a Week 17 matchup up the New Jersey Turnpike against the New York Giants.

The road opener has the Eagles traveling to Atlanta to face the Falcons on Sunday Night Football in Week 2, marking the fifth year in a row that Philadelphia has played the Falcons, including the 2017 divisional round.

Other highlights include a Week 3 home game against the Detroit Lions, the first time the two teams have faced off in the Linc since the famous “Snow Bowl” in 2013.

The Eagles will travel to Green Bay in Week 4 to face the Packers on Thursday Night Football, marking the first time that Philadelphia has played at Lambeau Field on a Thursday night.

Philadelphia will return to the site of its Super Bowl LII win when they travel to Minnesota in Week 6 to take on the Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium.

In Week 11, the Eagles will face the Patriots for the first time since Super Bowl LII and will play host to New England for the first time since 2011.

The now standard national television audience will once again get an Eagles-Cowboys matchup in Week 7 on Sunday Night Football. With the exception of a nationally-televised 2014 Thanksgiving afternoon contest, the division rivals have squared off in primetime every season dating back to 2007.

Week 12 has the Eagles welcoming the Seattle Seahawks to Philly for Sunday Night Football, marking the first primetime matchup between the two teams in the City of Brotherly Love since 2005.

As mentioned the Eagles close out the regular season with four-straight games against NFC East foes: vs. the Giants (Dec. 9), at Washington (Dec. 15), vs. Dallas (Dec. 22) and at the NYG (Dec. 29), the first time since 1988 that the Eagles have closed the regular season with four consecutive divisional games.
