COVID-19 Vaccination Cards Could Soon Become Essential
The requirements for getting that all-important COVID-19 vaccine have opened up in the Garden State. I was lucky enough to get my second shot of the Pfizer vaccine a couple of weeks ago.
As you may have heard, it's a smart idea to keep track of your COVID Vaccination card because you may need proof at some point that you're indeed fully vaccinated.
According to 6ABC.com and Commissioner Director Louis Capelli, Jr., your vaccination card could also double as a vaccination passport.
"Keep it in a safe place almost like a will. You're going to need it to get into places whether it be an entertainment venue, onto an airplane, perhaps whatever school you go to."
There hasn't been an official decision on where and when you'd need to show proof that you've been vaccination, but that of course, could change in the future.
After receiving my second shot at the Atlantic City Mega Vaccination Site, I temporarily lost my card which naturally made me panic. Thankfully I found mine and quickly took a photo of it, just for backup.

The vaccination rollout continues in earnest this week as the Atlantic City Vaccination Mega Site will schedule 31,000 first-dose appointments this week only, according to Breaking AC.
In order to schedule an appointment, you must first create a profile through AtlantiCare at the Atlantic City Mega Vaccination Site. The times to register this week are:
- Tuesdays at 3 PM
- Thursdays at 6 PM
- Saturdays at 9 AM
