Copycat Shrubbery Thief Hits Vineland

This could be the beginning of a green crime wave.

Or, not.

Police in Vineland say they have their own greenery thief, after someone stole a plant from a local doctor's office.

It was just days ago that and Absecon man was arrested for stealing hanging plants over a front porch.

Is this just the start of a green-thumb-crime outbreak?

Should we summon Batman - or, maybe, the Green Giant?

Police say the man in the grainy surveillance photo is responsible for digging up some Colorado Blue shrubbery that was planted at a local doctor's office.

Vineland Police are trying to get their hands on the suspect involved in the gardening escapade and have directed their detectives to try to enhance the photos to possibly grab a license plate number.
