One has to wonder why two people who could afford to drive a Cadillac would rob an elderly woman at a supermarket, but cops say that's what happened in Marmora on August 27th.

According to New Jersey State Police, on Thursday, August 27th, two suspects entered ShopRite in Marmora. They say the female suspect engaged an elderly woman in a conversation while the male suspect took the woman’s wallet from her shopping cart.

Police say the suspects were captured on video surveillance as they walked out of the store and got into a white Cadillac CTS or ATS sedan.

The two suspects then used the victim’s credit cards to purchase several gift cards and other items at the Ocean View CVS on Route 9.
