The day after a Cumberland County, NJ. man was taken in to custody of charges of murdering his estranged wife, an absolutely chilling 911call related to the crime has been released.

Jeremiah Monell,32,  is accused with the killing of his estranged wife, Tara O’Shea-Watson in her Laurel Lake home on Dec 19, possibly while the couple's 12-year-old son was in the home or close-by.

Police had found Monell’s truck the next afternoon in Cedarville, but he had remained on the loose during a two-week manhunt which ended when he was captured Monday afternoon behind a pizza shop in Folsom.

In the audio clip of the 911 call made just after the killing, obtained by 6 ABC Philly, a neighbor describes the boy coming to tell them his mother was murdered by his father.

"My wife's best friend's son just came down to my house, talking about how his mom is dead," the caller is heard to say.

"Okay, so it looks like she may have passed in her sleep?" asked the 911 operator.

"Oh my God, she was murdered," the caller said. "I need a state trooper out here now."
