Blue Moon Friday in South Jersey

Once in a blue moon will actually be happening twice in South Jersey. Get ready for a second full moon for the month of July.The moon won't have a shade of blue color but, you will be treated to a second full moon this month. It only happens every three years as it's known as a "blue moon." The last time we had a blue moon was the summer of 2012.  We'll have to wait for Janurary of 2018 for the next blue moon effect in South Jersey.

The blue moon rising is set for 7:27 PM  tonight and it will set at 6:09 AM tomorrow morning.
