The Casino Reinvestment Development Authority approved a plan that will add some sizzle to the world famous Atlantic City boardwalk.

According to the Press of Atlantic City, the CRDA plan will cost $12.5 million in bonds. Here are the some of the improvements coming to the boardwalk: New LED light poles will be in place on the ocean side of the boarwalk. Public saftey will also improve, since the new LED poles will give off more light. 164 LED light poles will be installed on the boardwalk between Albany and Rhode Island avenues. Security cameras will also be added for saftey reasons.

Also, part of Atlantic City's makeover will be the new outdoor concert venue and a new nightclub at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa. Live entertainment will also take place at Kennedy Plaza and two mega concerts are planned during the summer of 2015. Details on the boardwalk concerts are coming soon!
