Atlantic City Casinos Jump On Pop-Up Vaccine Clinic Trend

Mobile and pop-up vaccine centers are appearing all over the Garden State as we get closer to Governor Murphy's goal of having 4.7 million adults fully vaccinated in New Jersey by June 30th.

Close to 5.2 million already have received the first dose of the vaccine and over 4.1 million are fully vaccinated in our state.

The latest trend for vaccine centers is pop-up clinics and more than a few will be popping up at various casinos in Atlantic City according to the Press of Atlantic City.

The Casino Association of New Jersey in conjunction with AtlantiCare will make the vaccine available for those 12 and older at pop-up clinics at Harrah's Resort Hotel and Casino on Saturday, June 5th, and at Hard Rock Hotel & Casini and Golden Nugget on Sunday, June 6th. No appointments are necessary.

The goal of The Casino Association, AtlantiCare and, UNITED HERE Local 54 is to vaccinate as many employees as possible by Memorial Day.

Operation Jersey Summer is also in full swing as officials push for even more residents to get the COVID shot. According to 6 ABC, the new round of incentives includes free access to New Jersey's 51 state parks, a free glass of wine at participating New Jersey wineries, and even the chance to have dinner with the Governor and first lady Tammy Murphy.
