Allegiant Airlines is plotting a major expansion in 2026, and that includes adding more Florida flights from Atlantic City International, even before service from ACY begins.
Allegiant Starts Service From ACY in December
Allegiant Airlines, the budget carrier that got its start in California in the late 1990s, is set to begin service to Florida from Atlantic City International Airport in December.
Allegiant will begin offering flights to Fort Lauderdale beginning on December 11th, Orlando/Sanford on December 19th, and St. Petersburg-Clearwater and Punta Gorda on February 13th.
Allegiant Adds More Flights From ACY
The news comes as part of a whopping 30 new routes Allegiant were announced this week that it will take flight over the winter, spring, and early summer months next year.
The airline has upped the number of flights from ACY to Fort Lauderdale to six times a week starting in February.
Atlantic City International broke the news on its Instagram page on Wednesday.
"Allegiant’s first flight to FLL lands December 11, and they’re not stopping there. Beginning February 11, 2026 at ACY, they’ll boost service from 2 flights a week to 6 flights. More Fort Lauderdale getaways coming your way."
Allegiant Also Adds Flights to PHL and Trenton-Mercer Airport
Early next year, 30 new nonstop routes that connect 35 cities across the country are expected to be launched.
Part of these routes are four new airports that didn't previously offer Allegiant flights — including ACY, Philadelphia International Airport, and Trenton-Mercer Airport.
In addition to its nonstop services, Allegiant is known for providing travel to popular leisure destinations at budget-friendly rates
