There has been speculation for quite some time that Atlantic City was going to get a new supermarket and it is officially in the books because the location has been announced!

The new grocery store will be put at Baltic and Ohio avenues -- hallelujah!

“Later this year, we’re anticipating breaking ground,” said Walk West, director of sustainable food solutions for Uplift Solutions Inc. “Typically, it takes 18 months or so to build a supermarket.”

Plus, there will be a series of community meetings so residents can receive information on the project or ask questions during the construction process.
