7 Things to Do in South Jersey Instead of Watching The Big Game
Not a big football fan? Still bummed about the Eagles being defeated by the Saints? Not feeling yet ANOTHER championship game featuring those darn Patriots? Here's a list of things to do if you looking for something (ANYTHING) else to do this Sunday besides sitting in front of your TV, watching four hours of commercials, and the Rams take on the Patriots in one of the biggest sporting events of the year.
Go to the Movies
New releases this weekend include Artic,They Shall Not Grow Old and Miss Balla. Or hey, maybe catch Glass or Aquaman. The theaters should be quiet for the most part, so take advantage!
Visit Your Favorite Restaurant
South Jersey has so many tasty and awesome choices to choose from, plus getting a table shouldn't be an issue. Of course you can always get an update on the game from the bar.
Visit a Local Ice Skating Rink
Get some exercise and skate the afternoon away. You'll may even have the whole rink to yourself!
Maybe check Flyers Skate Zone in Atlantic City or Virtua Center Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees.
Shop Til You Drop
You may even score some super bargains and not have to deal with a crowd.
Visit a Museum
This could be be a great idea for the kids too! Maybe the Marine Mammal Stranding Center and Museum in Brigantine or Ripley's Believe It Or Not Museum in Atlantic City!
Netflix or Hulu Binge
So many choices and so many binge worthy shows on both Netflix and Hulu. I'm currently hooked on 'The Bodyguard' while my wife is hooked on the new season of 'Grace and Frankie'.
Visit a Spa
Here's a great way to relax and unwind and get rid of some unwanted stress. Make a day of it. You can even invite a friend.
