We've all been in that rock and hard place of eating too soon before a meal and eating too late in the night. Its a problem that has produced entire diets to solve that problem.

This blog will give you a quick list of a few great snacks you can throw in your bag and continue on with your day.

Trail-Mix

Throw a bag of trail mix in your bag and forget about it, you’ll remember it when you need it and thank yourself.

You can add more protein in the mix by using almonds or pistachios, which are slightly higher in protein but I prefer cashews over anything. Any type of nut is a good step in the right direction.

This snack can be high in fat, when in doubt use your hand! A handful will do you with this snack.

Peanut Butter with Celery Sticks or Apple Slices

Such an easy snack to prepare if you have the extra time to prepare some snacks.

Peanut Butter is an amazing snack as it's full of protein and feeling full.

Protein Chips

With how easy to eat chips it makes it easy to forget how much salt they have.

Why not replace those salty chips with something healthier? With chips being one of my weaknesses making this adjustment has made staying healthy a lot easier.

No Bake Energy Bites

If you really like being prepared, energy bites are for you. While they take the most time to prepare on this list, they might arguably be the best snack in a pinch.

Here is a recipe for some no bake energy bites with a 1 minute video tutorial.

Protein bars

There are two sides of protein bars, the store bought side and then the homemade versions.

The store bought ones often have a lot of added sugars but if you get the right ones, can be a really solid choice as an emergency snack.

Lara bars are some of my favorites as they have few ingredients.

However if you prefer to make them here are some recipes for that.
