14 Arrested In Atlantic City Drug Operation

The Atlantic City Police Department announced the arrest of 14 individuals as they continued their efforts to get illegal drugs off the streets in the city.
The police, helped by tips from the public on Tip411 and Citistat, have focused on quality of life issues in Florida, Bellevue, and Texas Avenues.
Police have deployed officers in those areas for the last month, and the efforts have resulted in 14 arrests.
The arrests have yielded, almost five ounces of cocaine, 160 individual bags of heroin, prescription pills, and drug paraphernalia.
In addition to the drug offenses, police issued 10 motor vehicle violations.
Police previously reported 19 arrests that resulted in the recovery of two handguns,195 individual bags of heroin, more than 117 grams of cocaine, five grams of methamphetamine, 11 ecstasy pills, and prescription pills.
Police also issued a number of motor vehicle violations and towed several vehicles.
The Atlantic City Police continue their efforts to get illegal drugs off the streets, but they can't succeed without help from the public.
