The Atlantic City Police Department announced the arrest of 14 individuals as they continued their efforts to get illegal drugs off the streets in the city.

The police, helped by tips from the public on Tip411 and Citistat, have focused on quality of life issues in Florida, Bellevue, and Texas Avenues.

Police have deployed officers in those areas for the last month, and the efforts have resulted in 14 arrests.

The arrests have yielded,  almost five ounces of cocaine, 160 individual bags of heroin, prescription pills, and drug paraphernalia.

In addition to the drug offenses, police issued 10 motor vehicle violations.

Police previously reported 19 arrests that resulted in the recovery of two handguns,195 individual bags of heroin, more than 117 grams of cocaine, five grams of methamphetamine, 11 ecstasy pills, and prescription pills.

Police also issued a number of motor vehicle violations and towed several vehicles.

Those arrested in the operations include:
🔺Nazir Bell, 24, of Egg Harbor City, NJ.  Contempt of court.
🔺Tajah Campbell, 40, of Atlantic City.  Possession of CDS and contempt of court.
🔺Tyshaun Cooper-Roary, 26, of Margate, NJ.
Possession of CDS (two counts), possession of CDS with intent to distribute (two counts), possession of CDS with intent to distribute within 500 feet of a public zone, possession of CDS with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school zone, resisting arrest, and possession of CDS paraphernalia.
🔺Daweed Jackson, 24, of Egg Harbor City, NJ.  Contempt of court.
🔺Thomas Osterman, 57, of Atlantic City.  Possession of CDS paraphernalia and
contempt of court.
🔺Michael Robinson, 40, of Atlantic City.  Possession of CDS and contempt of court.
🔺Waheed Wilkins, 34, of Trenton, NJ.
Possession of CDS (two counts), possession of CDS with intent to distribute (two counts), possession of CDS with intent to distribute within 500 feet of a public zone, possession of CDS with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school zone, and possession of CDS paraphernalia.
🔺Laron Wright, 31, of Atlantic City.  Possession of CDS, possession of CDS with intent to distribute, and contempt of court.
The below individuals were released on a summons with a future court date.
🔺Jy’heem Benjamin-Hannah, 20, of Atlantic City.
Possession of CDS and possession of CDS with intent to distribute.
🔺Stacy Campo, 46, of Cape May, NJ.
Possession of CDS and possession of CDS with intent to distribute.
🔺Gregory Hall, 55, of Atlantic City.  Possession of CDS.
🔺Brandon Kunz, 34, of Atlantic City.  Possession of CDS.
🔺Rachel Miller, 36, of Atlantic City.  Possession of CDS paraphernalia.
🔺Jihad Searcy, 37, of Atlantic City.
Possession of CDS (two counts) and possession of CDS with intent to distribute.

The Atlantic City Police continue their efforts to get illegal drugs off the streets, but they can't succeed without help from the public.
