12-Year-Old Galloway Girl to Star in Broadway Play

Before Abigail Paige Murphy makes her 7th grade debut at Galloway Township Middle School in September, she'll make her starring debut on the Broadway stage.

Twelve-year-old Abigail is now in rehearsals for a production of "Dream Street" at the Pearl Theatre,  42nd St. and Broadway in New York, Aug. 12-16.

This isn't Abby's first experience as a New York actress, however. Her New York-based agent and manager books her on frequent auditions and Abigail has had several roles singing, dancing and acting in the Big Apple, including performing off-Broadway with the Broadway Youth Ensemble.

During her time attending Arthur Rann Elementary School, Abby and her mom Diana, became very familiar with the commute to the theater district in New York City. Now, with her first starring Broadway role later this month, those trips in Mom's taxi will be continuing. Good luck, Abby!
