NJ.com reports 19-year-olds Liam McAtasney and Preston Taylor, both of Neptune City have been charged. McAtasney faces charges of murder, robbery and tampering with evidence, while Taylor is charged with conspiracy, hindering prosecution by concealing evidence, and contempt.

The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office told NJ.com that the pair will have their first court appearance today, but would not say if Stern's body had been found.

Stern's car was discovered on the Belmar Bridge on Rt. 35 at around 3 a.m. on Saturday, December 3rd. The surrounding area was searched for days, and turned up nothing. The Prosecutor's Office offered a $5,000 reward for information that led to "identification, arrest, and prosecution of any suspects."
