Tuckerton Food Truck Gives Meals to Crews Fighting Wildfires

As firefighters spent the night fighting a wildfire in the Bass River State Forest, a family of workers from a local food truck joined fire crews at their base of operations at Pineland Regional High School to offer free meals to firefighters.

The Five Sisters Food Co. Truck report on Facebook that they have have been offering support to the firefighters....

6ABC is reporting that 70 firefighters with the New Jersey Forest Fire Service from around the state and about 150 structural firefighters from 39 municipal fire departments are working to protect the surrounding homes,

Five Sisters Food Co., in the food truck business since 2011, is named for the five daughters of George and Libby Miller of Tuckerton, who have developed quite a reputation for their food at local food truck competitions.

But it is the goodwill efforts to help local firefighters that is winning the Five Sisters Food Co. Truck accolades this morning., as dozens of people have left comments thanking them for their generosity to the firefighters.
