There are two upcoming opportunities to be one of a few who ride on the Battleship New Jersey as she leaves dry dock and heads home to the Camden waterfront.

These 30 ride openings are very exclusive and, because they are a fund-raising endeavor for the Battleship Museum, they aren't cheap.

Battleship New Jersey Prepares to Leave Drydock

After nearly 12 weeks in dry dock at the Philadelphia Navy Yard, Battleship New Jersey will return to her home port on the Camden Waterfront on Thursday, June 20.

The Battleship will depart from the Philadelphia Naval Yard on June 14 and will dock in Paulsboro for six days for ballast work.

On June 20, she will make the trip to her home berth along the Camden Waterfront. The public is invited to celebrate this historic milestone and welcome home the nation’s longest, fastest, and most decorated battleship.

Ride on the Battleship NJ As She Returns to Home Dock

While away in dry dock, the Battleship New Jersey could not hold tours, group guided tours, or events — all-important revenue generators for the non-profit museum and memorial.

As a way of raising funds for the Battleship, they are offering two changes to a rare final ride on the Battleship as it makes its way home.

You could ride on the Battleship New Jersey Ride from the Philadelphia Navy Yard to Paulsboro on June 14 or from Paulsboro to Camden on June 20.

Only 15 tickets are being offered for each of these unique journeys, at the price of $5000 a ticket.

The $5K ticket price is a donation to help pay for the dry docking of the Battleship, a non-profit museum and memorial on the Camden Waterfront.
