Tropical Storm Isaias barreled through the Garden State in record time yesterday leaving behind flooded roads, downed tress and power outages for over a million people
South Jersey has received multiple watches and warnings of tornado activity as Tropical Storm Isaias impacts our area. This funnel cloud was spotted in Marmora Tuesday morning.
Gov. Phil Murphy late Monday issued a state of emergency, effective at 5 a.m. Tuesday, in anticipation of Isaias — the severe storm climbing the East Coast and expected to hit the Garden State that day.
Strong winds will be the biggest impact for the Jersey Shore, while heavy rain and flooding will be worst along the Delaware River in western New Jersey.
