Snakes

New Jersey is home to two venomous snakes, neither of which is the water moccasin.

Queen snakes, an endangered aquatic snake that hasn't been seen in New Jersey since 1977 has been rediscovered in the state.

Some could be venomous.

One state should be more worried than others when the snakes are more active this year.

They're invasive. They're creepy. They jump. Doesn't exactly sound like earthworms but they are. Oh, and they wriggle like snakes.

They may be scary, but it is illegal to mess with this venomous New Jersey snake.
