Food delivery apps are more popular than ever — which has created a new security issue in West Deptford schools, as students have been ordering meals during the school day.
While some meetings in New Jersey districts have included vocal critics of the state's school mask mandate, other places have seen fights and threats, according to school board officials.
The recommendation for returning to indoor masking amid a spike in COVID cases comes amid a federal lawsuit filed by NJ families, saying such rules violate their kids' rights.
"New Jersey schools currently are required to conduct active shooter exercises but guidelines are vague on how drills should be conducted," the Murphy Administration said on April 15.
