After three long years of hard work, the Wheel at Steel Pier opened up this past Saturday with hundreds online to check out how the $14 million dollar project turned out!

And this week you are getting the chance to nab a ride before the wheel goes back to solely being opened during the weekends before opening up full-time later in the season.

From April 2nd to April 6th, rides will be available starting at 1:00 PM! Attendees this past weekend were paying $15 for adults and $12 for kids.

"This is a statement," said Steel Pier's owner and president, Anthony Catanoso. "It says, 'You know what, Atlantic City is coming back. We can build beautiful, non-gaming attractions that are first-class, and people are going to come and ride them."

At the highest point, the wheel reaches 227 feet from its base and 300 feet above sea level which means you are able to see views of the city, the coast, and ocean in Atlantic City!
