St. Augustine Prep Graduate’s Jeopardy Run Comes To An End
Conor Murphy, a 2013 St. Augustine Prep graduate, ended his winning streak on "Jeopardy!" this past Monday night when he came in second place.
"I didn't expect to get a chance to be on 'Jeopardy!' but the fact that it did happen has been incredible. The outpouring of support I heard from everybody has been really gratifying," said Murphy in an interview following the broadcast.
But the 24-year-old isn't going home empty handed. After appearing on two episodes, Murphy is taking home $11,600 in winnings which he has already said will go towards some of his school loans! (I feel you, Murphy!)
