2017 will not be a good year for one of the most iconic retail franchises, which was founded in 1921.

CNN Money is reporting that Radio Shack will be closing 200 stores this year and it's also filing for bankruptcy again. The company closed 50 stores in New Jersey back in 2015, while also filing for bankruptcy.

In New Jersey, the following locations in our area will be closing according to Business Insider including stores in Hammonton, Ventnor, Somers Point and Rio Grande.

Some stores will shutdown right away, while others will close their doors during the first week of April.

This is such sad news for me personally, as Radio Shack was such a cool store to bring my boys when they were younger. I remember not being able to get my boys away from the remote controlled cars whenever we stopped in there. Radio Shack was always a place we went Christmas shopping for the boys.
