NJ Run For The Fallen Race of 2018 Announced

Starting on September 26th, 2018 and ending on September 30th is the NJ "Run For The Fallen" where 28 military members run in a relay-style course where each mile ran honors a New Jersey service members who has died during our fight against the Global War On Terror.

On Wednesday, there will be a Gold Star Family Luncheon, a flag ceremony reading the names of those being honored,  and finally a buffet dinner for Gold Star Families and the runners.

The race will officially kick off on Thursday, September 27th at 8:00 AM at Sunset Beach in Cape May. The race will pass through various landmarks throughout New Jersey including the American Legion Post 524 in Ocean City and the Manahawkin Elks Lodge #2340 in Manhawkin. The race will conclude at NJ Vietnam Veterans' Memorial in Holmdel.

For those that are interested in taking part of the run, the last five miles are open to the public and will start at 963 Holmdel road in Holmdel.
