🔴  Pepsico is One of the Biggest Snack-Food Producers

🔴  Customers Have Been Complaining About Paying More for Less Product

🔴  Pepsico Announces Plans to Increase the Amount of Product in the Bag

Have you noticed something different when you open a bag of chips lately?

Prices are up, but somehow, the bags feel lighter too!

Many of us have been quietly noticing this trend, but it’s finally coming into the spotlight.

Earlier this year, in March, the President announced support for The Shrinkflation Prevention Act of 2024, aimed at tackling the issue of companies charging more for less.

No matter where you stand politically, this sounds like a cause many of us can get behind.

Yet, here we are, months later, and it feels like nothing's changed—until now.

Pepsico, one of the world’s biggest snack producers, has stepped up.

They just announced they’ll add about 20% more chips to each bag, without increasing prices.

In response to criticism from both consumers and politicians, Pepsico is rolling out these fuller bags to address the impact of shrinkflation.

Soon, you’ll see “Bonus Bags” of your favorite chips on shelves, each packed with more crunch at the same price.

They’re even adding two extra bags in their variety packs at no extra cost.

They haven’t listed the specific brands included yet, but this move might set a new standard for other companies to follow.

After all, it’s not just snack lovers who are feeling the pinch—paper products like toilet paper, tissues, and paper towels have also been shrinking.

Here’s to hoping this shift from Pepsico sparks a new trend and brings a bit more value back to our everyday purchases.
