Miss New Jersey 2019 Competition Heats Up at New Home

The Miss New Jersey competition has a brand new home after being a mainstay at the Ocean City Music Pier for the last 23 years.

The competition to see who will represent the Garden State and have a chance at being crowned Miss America 2020 is now taking place at the Superstar Theater at Resorts, Atlantic City.

According to the Press of Atlantic City, the winners for the first round of prelims include Miss Atlantic Shores, Alyssa Sullivan who was the winner for best on stage interview and Miss Central Jersey Beaches topped the talent category. Jade Glab gave an amazing opera performance to for a big win!

More winners to congratulate. According to NJ.com, in the second round of prelims, Miss Coastal Shores, Christa Steiner scored impressive marks for her on stage interview and Ocean City's Natalie Ragazzo won the talent portion of the contest with an impressive performance from Broadway's On the Town.

The final night of the competition takes place Saturday night at the Superstar Theater at Resorts in Atlantic City at 8 PM.

Miss New Jersey 2018 Jamie Gilalloreto will be on hand to introduce the new Miss New Jersey 2019.

The location for Miss America Pageant 2.0 is still unknown at this time.
